Plus d\u2019un millier d\u2019institutions, dont des entreprises pharmaceutiques et biotechnologiques et des universit\u00e9s de 50 pays, ont obtenu l\u2019accr\u00e9ditation de l\u2019AAALAC International (Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care). Plusieurs sites d\u2019entreprises membres d\u2019Interpharma sont \u00e9galement certifi\u00e9s par l\u2019AAALAC International. Depuis 2013, Interpharma occupe un si\u00e8ge \u00e0 la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation des organisations membres de l\u2019AAALAC International et depuis 2020 \u00e9galement au Board of Directors, et peut ainsi exercer une influence directe sur l\u2019encouragement de programmes ind\u00e9pendants de certification de la protection des animaux. Pour que les mandats de recherche soient en conformit\u00e9 avec la protection des animaux, l\u2019AAALAC International dispose de plus de 360 consultant-e-s sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9-e-s occasionnel-le-s qui accompagnent les membres du Conseil d\u2019accr\u00e9ditation lors des visites sur site et \u00e9mettent des recommandations.
