Des perc\u00e9es r\u00e9centes dans l\u2019utilisation de technologies de cultures cellulaires humaines ont montr\u00e9 que celles-ci permettent de pr\u00e9dire avec une grande pr\u00e9cision la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 clinique, l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 et la pharmacocin\u00e9tique. Les donn\u00e9es de ces nouveaux mod\u00e8les tissulaires et pathologiques vont compl\u00e9ter les algorithmes <em>in silico<\/em> utilis\u00e9s pour la mod\u00e9lisation et la simulation. Dans ce domaine en plein essor, les travaux se concentrent sur les organo\u00efdes, de minuscules cultures tissulaires en trois dimensions auto-organis\u00e9es que l\u2019on obtient \u00e0 partir de cellules souches, ainsi que sur les \u00aborganes sur puce\u00bb. Ces cultures de la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration peuvent \u00eatre mises en place de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 reproduire la complexit\u00e9 structurelle et fonctionnelle d\u2019un organe humain ou \u00e0 exprimer certains aspects choisis, par exemple \u00e0 produire seulement certains types de tissus.
